Anointing the Field
Four pauper's graves in the lower quarter went into the ground last winter without rites - the chapel was short of hands, and the foundries don't stop for funerals. Pour a vial of blessed water at each marker. The dead are owed what we can give them, even late. Grace doesn't keep a calendar.

- The vial empties. Something in you settles
