A small camp thrown up between patrols: canvas, a cookfire, somebody's boots drying on a rock. Stop by, lend a hand, and word gets back to the people who keep ledgers.
When used
You take a coffee, give a road report, and shake the right hand. The patrol log gets a line with your name on it.
