Look at this. Diagrams of a device labeled "CRADLE" - some kind of containment system. Complex, multi-layered construction.
The CELLs we find scattered across the region... they might be components that broke off from something larger. Pieces of this CRADLE device.
She returns to her notes, frustrated.
