Institute analysts have documented over two hundred distinct compounds across recovered samples, ranging from inert to acutely toxic under standard atmospheric conditions.

2. Registro 2

   Old chemists in Prosperity buy drum samples by the milliliter and never by the brand. Two drums with the same factory label can hold two different mixtures, depending on which shift filled them and what they were trying to hide from the inspectors. The labels are starting points, not answers.

3. Registro 3

   A drum recovered west of Bluff was sealed under standard pre-war protocol and stamped with a routine waste-classification code. The compound inside reacts to ambient light by darkening, then clearing, on a cycle of roughly four hours. No chemist at the Institute has proposed a mechanism, and the cycle has not varied in nine months of observation.
