Smelt ore to raise this skill. The more difficult the ore to smelt, the more experience you earn.

| 4 | 3,000 | Allows you to smelt Tier 2 ore |
| 5 | 9,000 | +5% chance to save materials during smelting (+10% total) |
| 6 | 27,000 | -10% smelting time (-20% total) |
| 7 | 81,000 | Allows you to smelt Tier 3 ore |
| 8 | 243,000 | +5% chance to save materials during smelting (+15% total) |
| 9 | 729,000 | -10% smelting time (-30% total) |
| 10 | 2,187,000 | +5% chance to save materials during smelting (+20% total) -10% smelting time (-40% total) |
