Tan hides to raise this skill. The more difficult the hide to tan, the more experience you earn.

| 4 | 3,000 | Allows you to tan Tier 2 hide |
| 5 | 9,000 | +5% chance to save materials during tanning (+10% total) |
| 6 | 27,000 | -10% tanning time (-20% total) |
| 7 | 81,000 | Allows you to tan Tier 3 hide |
| 8 | 243,000 | +5% chance to save materials during tanning (+15% total) |
| 9 | 729,000 | -10% tanning time (-30% total) |
| 10 | 2,187,000 | +5% chance to save materials during tanning (+20% total) -10% tanning time (-40% total) |
