1. Entry 1

   Institute examiners match the vault’s door damage, interior claw marks, and wounds on HOUND’s chassis to the same teeth. Repairs on its flanks contain fragments of its own jaw.

2. Entry 2

   Scavengers hear two sets of mechanical footsteps in the vault. One approaches; the other retreats along the same corridor. Those who hide report seeing only one machine pass. Sometimes it is already bleeding.

3. Entry 3

   A maintenance binder contains photographs of the machine blamed for breaching the vault. Its chassis bears the same distinctive repairs as HOUND. The incident prompted the order to purchase a security unit.
